Fantastic highly rated Power Zoom digital camera that produces excellent pictures through its highly acclaimed Kodak Retinar Aspheric all-glass zoom lens.
The compact 10x optical power zoom lens is equivalent to a full 38mm - 380mm zoom lens yet the camera is very compact indeed. In fact one of the most compact power zoom cameras you will get anywhere.
If you are not confident with cameras you will be pleased to know that the Kodak Z740 is described as one of the simplest cameras to operate yet has all the settings that intermediate users will appreciate.
The camera includes a built-in view finder which is ideal for use on sunny days or to conserve battery power. This special feature is not available on other compact cameras.
Shooting at the full 5MP quality setting on this camera allows you to take the best quality pictures whilst minimising memory card usage (compared with higher resolution cameras).
It uses 2 common AA alkaline batteries however is supplied with 2 rechargeable AA batteries and 1 lithium (long life) battery pack so you will never be caught with a flat battery.
Also uses common SD memory cards which you can buy anywhere for just a few dollars.
